2013 MTV VMAs: “Best Song Of The Summer” Goes To One Direction For “Best Song Ever”

Kendrick forgot about Macklemore. After winning Billboard’s Top Rap Song Award for “Thrift Shop” in May, he takes home the video music award for Best Hip-Hop video. Thanks to “Can’t Hold Us,” Macklemore won a KAWS Moonman (that Drake will have to pay $200 million Canadian dollars to buy from him) against Kendrick [“Swimming Pools (Drank)”], J. Cole [“Power Trip”], A$AP Rocky [“F**kin’ Problems”] and Drake [“Started From the Bottom”]. He also won a KAWS Moonman for Best Video With A Social Message with “Same Love.” See the videos that won after the jump!

Tech Talk News: Jay-Z and Beyonce Baby Setting Records Already!
MTV’s annual Video Music Awards had a lot of epic events yesterday. Probably the biggest part of the show was the announcement of Beyonce and Jay-Z expecting their first child. The newest addition of the Carter family is setting records with the most tweets per second. 8,868 tweets were sent with the announcement at 10:35pm surpassing the US Women’s Soccer team victory which saw 7,196 tweets per second.
