Eight children will have to live the rest of their lives without their mother after 42 year-old Raynette Turner was found dead in her jail cell. This news comes just days after Sanda Bland a Chicago woman, who was found dead in a Texas jail cell was buried. Turner was arrested on a minor shoplifting charge Saturday and Monday she was found dead. Police are still investigating. Read more below.
Sports: College Basketball Star Shot While Back Home In New York
One second can ruin a lifetime. University of Oklahoma star basketball player Isaiah Cousins is thankful today that his future isn’t ruined. Cousins, who is from Mount Vernon, NY, just outside of New York City, was hit by a stray bullet during a gang shooting. He is home for the summer and was just in the wrong place at the wrong time when shots started going off. He was hit in the back of the shoulder but luckily will not require any surgery or have any long term affects. Hit the jump.
