SMH, I guess Eminem and Rihanna really bought the monster out of some people last night! The duo kicked off their long anticipated tour last night in California and it definitely was CRAZY! The duo performed over 2 hours of hits including Stan, Diamonds, and more! Unfortunately, the show was overshadowed by the chaos outside. Reports say there were nearly 20 arrests last night at the Pasadena Rose Bowl Stadium! Sheesh! Hit the jump for more details.

Superstars Rihanna and Eminem are gearing up to hit the road together on the ‘Monster’ tour, a quick 3-city/6-show trek inspired by their 2013 hit of the same name. The twosome also have a few other smash collabs under their belt including “Love the Way You Lie” and “Numb,” so the show should be pretty dope! The ‘Monster’ tour kicks off at the Rose Bowl in L.A. August 7th and 8th, then hits NJ’s MetLife Stadium on August 16th and 17th, and wraps up in Em’s hometown of Detroit on August 22nd and 23rd. Swizz Beatz is currently out in Las Vegas (along with our very own Tat Wza, amongst others!) attending the annual tech conference, CES, representing for his Monster headphones company. On Monday night, the music mogul was joined by the legendary Shaquille O’Neal as they took over Vegas hotspot Marquee, and Swizzy manned the turntables as Shaq grabbed the mic. The self proclaimed monther Swizz Beatz has just bought some stake into audio company Monster, the same company that lengendary producer Dr. Dre sold his Beats by Dre headphones. Swizz might be looking to give Dre some comp in the headphone market. After all RZA, 50, Ludacris currently have headphones on the market why not join in on the party. Noel Lee, Monster’s chief, also named Swizz to the company’s advisory board give A. Keys a run for her money also since she was recently name the ambassador for the newly named Blackberry company. “They built an empire, and my job will be to push the envelope–turn the lights of the castle up really bright and help Monster take its next big step forward,” said Swizz in a statement. Added Lee: “The products that we have planned are revolutionary in technology, sound, and style. We need the talents and reach of Swizz to help bring these products to life in the eyes of the consumer.” Can Swizz become the second coming of Dre????
