Mallory Hagan from Brooklyn New, York was crowned as Miss America during last night’s ceremony. 23-year-old Hagan won the crown after tap dancing to James Brown’s “Get Up Off of That Thing” as well as saying violence should not be fought with more violence. Miss South Carolina Ali Rogers came in second with Miss Oklahoma Alicia Clifton coming in third place. While she is Miss America, Hagan hopes to help stop child sexual abuse.
