NBA: Amare Stoudemire Unhappy With Benching Says He Needs to Talk to Woodson in Offseason
Suffering through another injury wrecked season, Amare Stoudemire returned to game 3 of the Knicks playoff series against the Indiana Pacers. There was hope that his size and possible post presence could help the Knicks against the Pacers big squad that was dominating the paint. Unfortunately for the Knicks, Amare didn’t provide much and coach Mike Woodson chose to bench him for the second half of the remaining two games before the Knicks were eliminated.
