Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has just been indicted on tax fraud charges and can face up to 3 years maximum in federal prison if he’s found guilty. Unfortunately for the Jersey Shore star, he also won’t be able to drink until his trial date. He and his brother are both caught up in this legal mess due to failing to pay taxes on $9 million dollars worth of business endeavors they have together. Mike was released on a $250,000 bond and is currently awaiting his trial date. “Michael and Marc Sorrentino filed false tax returns that incorrectly reported millions made from promotions and appearances,” U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman explained to The Star-Ledger about the Sorrentino brother’s legal issues. “The brothers allegedly also claimed costly clothes and cars as business expenses and funneled company money into personal accounts. The law is absolutely clear: telling the truth to the IRS is not optional.”
SMH! Jersey Shore’s Own Mike ‘The Situation’ In Trouble After His Tanning Salon Employee’s Checks Bounced!
Looks like Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is already having trouble with his new tanning salon business. A rep from the Middletown PD said they’re getting complaints from the employees at Mike’s Boca Tanning Club salon in Middletown, New Jersey. According to them, the workers all received checks for between $100-$200 that all bounced. Mike could be dealing with some serious legal troubles including criminal charges if the problem didn’t get resolved ASAP. Needless to say, the checks were reissued and the employees got paid. According to Stitch, the only reason there was any issues with the $$ was because they had just switched payroll companies. Riiiighhhhht.
‘Jersey Shore’ Begins Filming & The Whole Cast Abstains From Drinking
MTV’s hit show, “Jersey Shore” has begun filming once again in Seaside Heights, NJ and it seems the entire cast has been abstaining from drinking. As you know Snooki is pregnant and Mike “The Situation” had a stint in rehab this year so the two of them won’t be doing any drinking this year unless Mike has a relapse. It appears that thus far the entire cast while be joining them during their sobriety. I wonder how long this is going to last beings that the whole show is based mostly on drunk antics? ‘Jersey Shore’ Might Be Gettting Two New Cast Members!
The producers of the hit show, Jersey Shore, maybe looking for more talent soon! According to sources, the producers are worried that Snooki’s pregnancy and Mike’s drug/drinking problem might negatively effect their ratings. Snooki is no doubt a major star of the show with her drunken antics but there will be no drunken antics for her this year. I’m not even really sure why she would be on the show, I mean do people really want to watch Snooki’s pregnancy?! I’d assume that MTV also doesn’t want any more possible drug situations being played out on the show, either. The producers maybe looking for new cast members, not to replace Snooki and Mike, but just to add another factor to the show. Read more below. Julie1205
