Yesterday the Migos followed up their hit single “Bad & Boujee” and dropped the visuals to their second single “Casting Call.” Today they return and reveal the release date and cover for their highly anticipated sophomore album “CULTURE.” After numerous push-backs and putting pressure on their label, the Migos will finally release “CULTURE” on January 27th. This follows up their debut album “Yung Rich Nation” which didn’t resonate with fans the way they wanted it to.This time around it looks like there taking it back to the basics and creating the music they want to create. If the singles are any indication on how the album will sound were definitely in for a treat.
Last month we saw Migos tear the place down in Nigeria during their performance of “Bad and Boujee”. Though the trio continues to enjoy the growing success of the song, it does not interfere with them constantly providing new music. Today, the Atlanta group keeps it in Africa for the official music video for “Call Casting”, set to be on the upcoming album, CULTURE.
Apart from becoming the most recognized member of Migos, Quavo has been thriving as a solo artist the whole year of 2016. The Quality Control rapper ends his successful year with some holiday spirit, releasing his new song, “Santa”, after Christmas.
“Bad and Boujee” has been taking over the airwaves. Migos recently invaded Nigeria and boy did they have the crowd super LIT. DJ John J posted the video to Instagram and it was just crazy to see how lit the function was. I wish I was there in all honesty.
Murda Beatz took to OVO Sound Radio to premier his new mixtape, Keep God First, on Saturday and boy does he have some bangers! The platinum producer grabbed up artists such as 2 Chainz, Jeremih, Swae Lee, and many more to jump on some hard instrumentals.
