(Caption These Hilarious Photos) NBA: Jay Z, Beyonce & Jake Gyllenhaal at Nets/Heat Game

On Saturday night Jay Z and Beyonce were in attendance yet again for the Brooklyn Nets game but this time they had a friend, actor Jake Gyllenhaal.  The trio sat court side as the Nets defeated the Heat 104-90.  I would love to know what they were discussing but the funny pictures alone were enough to make social media come up with their own stories.

(Photo) NBA: Ouch!! Newspaper Makes “Painful” Error In Headline About Heat & Nets

Yesterday the Miami Heat took care of business in game 1 against the Brooklyn Nets to start the series with a 1-0 lead. When some men read about the game this morning in a local newspaper in Evansville, Indiana, I am sure for a quick moment they felt pain. Then they probably laughed hysterically for a few minutes at the error in the headline. Hit the jump.

(PHOTOS) NBA: Miami Heat Show Support For The Clippers

It’s great to see other teams supporting the Clippers — let’s be clear, it’s NOT support for Donald Sterling — it’s for the team & players.  The Miami Heat show solidarity with the Clippers by removing warmups and leaving it at half-court pre-game.  They also warmed up with their shirts inside out just like the Clippers.

(Photos) NBA: WOW, So This Is How The NBA Playoffs Would Go If It Were Up To Twitter

Twitter is such a powerful force. Not powerful enough to make the NBA playoffs go a certain way, but if it was based on twitter mentions alone, there would be some surprises throughout. Some of the favorites would be knocked out early if it were up to the fans. Twitter put together a bracket based on team mentions since the start of the season. Hit the jump to see the image and who has the loudest fans. It is pretty dope. If you are a Miami Heat hater though, just look away now.

NBA: Oh Now the Pacers Are Fine With Being the No. 2 Seed

All the Indiana Pacers have preached about all season is getting the No. 1 seed and having homecourt advantage in the playoffs.  It appeared they would secure that goal as they came out firing to begin the season and kept it up for quite some time.  Then there was a significant shift and the Pacers appeared to be in a free fall.  Luckily for them the Heat had some trouble as well which kept things close between them. However after last night’s 98-86 lost to Miami in a game which the Pacers were down by as many as 20 points, they now seem content with being No. 2.

NBA: Yikes, Kobe Gets Mixed Reactions From Fans After Talking About Heat Support For Trayvon Martin

I know this might make some people upset (and some will agree with him), but let’s keep in mind that Kobe is allowed to have his own opinion — and voice it.  In a recent interview with The New Yorker, Kobe talks about the Miami Heat and the support they showed for Trayvon Martin (see photos here) — even though it wasn’t just the Heat — Melo, KD and others did as well. Check out what he had to say & let us know what you think…
