Millions of us have tuned in on Monday nights for the past couple of months to watch the drama ensue on VH1’s latest cash cow, Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta. Each character had their own story line, each one crazier than the next, I’m sure in an effort to secure more on-screen time. K. Michelle is an aspiring singer from the south, but her main focus wasn’t that. It was more on the ex that allegedly beat her so badly one night she’d suffered irreparable damage, and caused her career to flop when she allowed him to manage her. That ex is MempHitz, music exec and now husband to reality star/Weezy’s ex, Toya. The show gave K. Michelle a platform to continuously speak on what Memph had done to her, but gave no room for him to deny such serious claims. Now he’s had enough, and has decided to strike back in the form of a lawsuit. He is suing various parties involved in the production of the show, for one dollar per viewer per show for damages that stem from “the defamatory statements and denigrating actions” of K. Michelle. The official press release with details below! Do you think this is the right thing to do? Marisa Mendez
