While everyone was putting their two cents in on Kanye West’s decision to change the name of his forthcoming album to ‘WAVES’, no one really took the time to go to the center of all the controversy and find out his thoughts on the name change. Max B, the creator of the “wave” is currently in prison serving a 75-year sentence for armed robbery, aggravated assault, kidnapping, and murder, but found the time to call into the Breakfast Club to talk about the controversy. “It’s all love. I appreciate it. I’m flattered that dudes is even acknowledging the situation,” he explained, adding “Everybody know I’m an innovator. Everybody know I got imagination. I come up with these words and these slogans and these catch phrases and it’s all good when the people follow suit. I like Kanye, I appreciate it. I love it, thank you.” More below.
The real WAVE is still behind bars but Montana got him with all the gossip going on in the hip-hop world. French Montana posts a video via Instagram of him taking that call from Max B who is still locked up.
Before anyone else tried to hop on the bandwagon, Max B was the original person to start “the wave” movement, hence why the recent drama between Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa ensued all over Twitter. A rare video surfaced of Max B speaking with TP on how he kicked off the wave movement. Check it out below!
