French Montana was supposed to release his upcoming album “MC4” this Friday, but because of the leak and a few other issues he has decided to scrap the project. Today he decides to officially release one of the standout cuts from the album, “Paid For” featuring Chinx and Max B. The 9 minute track is produced by Harry Fraud, The Alchemist and Masar.
Funk Flex just had French Montana on the line and he cleared up a few things that have been on French fans minds. 1- the Iggy Azalea relationship and 2- Max B getting a potential early release from his 75 year bid.
News that Max B would be coming home sooner than later was first announced by Wiz Khalifa on Friday, who has always been a champion of Max and names him as one of his biggest inspirations. (He’s also who publicly called out Kanye West when he was trying to name his album Waves.) Taking to Twitter, Wiz wrote, “Max B is coming home. Sentence got shortened. Looks like the Gang will be working wit the Wave.” Max B was sentenced in 2009 after being convicted in 2006 for a botched robbery at a hotel in New Jersey, and received 75 years. He has served seven years thus far at the New Jersey State Prison.
Alot of the hip hop community was rejoiced to hear the news that the wave has been free’d and soon Max B will be coming home from prison. The News first broke via Rapper French Montana’s Instagram. Now Max has put out an official statement for the public. The statement thanks fans for the support cause without them it wouldn’t be possible.
