(Video & Pics) NCAA: Louisville’s Kevin Ware Suffers BRUTAL Leg Injury During Game Against Duke

A game that had a championship feel to it turned unbelievably sad when Louisville’s Kevin Ware went down with one of the most brutal injuries I’ve ever seen in my life.  It was so bad that all his teammates hit the floor and many began crying.  The team’s coach Rick Pitino also tried to hold back tears but they continued to fall.  Even the Duke players became solemn as there was a hush over the crowd and the many of the Louisville fans in the stands cried as well.  Read more after the jump.


NCAA: Barack-etology! President Obama’s Bracket Jumps From 30th Percentile To 70th!

March Madness: The Complete First Weekend Re-Cap

If you are a fan of college basketball, then March is one of your favorite times of the year. As the weather starts to get better, unless you live here in the northeast, it also means it is time for March Madness. The annual college basketball tournament seems to suck people into it who never even watch sports. How many people win office pools for the tournament, that never watched a day of basketball in their life prior to this? Happens all the time. Alot of things happened during the first weekend of the championship. Many favorites won, many young men cried at the thought of playing their final game, and a few underdogs have captured the hearts of fans all over the country. March Madness: Goliath Goes Down!! #2 Georgetown Loses In A Shocker To #15 FGCU

Ok, so you are going to hear this phrase alot lately if the 2013 NCAA tournament keeps going the way it has been. The phrase is “One of the biggest upsets ever”! Case in point, last night Harvard won it’s first game ever in the tournament when the #14 seeded Harvard Crimson beat #3 seeded New Mexico. That was one of the biggest upsets ever simply because of the history of the 2 schools when it comes to basketball and the difference in how good the 2 teams were this season. March Madness:(Video) La Salle Scores Major Upset Of Kansas State

More and more brackets around the country continue to land in the garbage as another underdog pulled off a big upset today during the second round of the NCAA tournament. #13 seeded La Salle, from the Philly area, held on to beat #4 seeded Kansas State 63-61 in the west region. For a school that most people thought didn’t even deserve to be in the tournament, this win means alot for La Salle. Jerrell Wright was a major factor in the game, scoring 21 points while grabbing 8 rebounds and not missing one shot. Check out the highlights after the jump. La Salle will next take on the University of Mississippi, who also had a somewhat of an upset win over Wisconsin earlier today.


March Madness:(Video) Marquette Avoids Huge Upset With Last Second Shot

Marquette University avoided a very big upset loss by hitting a layup at the buzzer to defeat Davidson 59-58 yesterday in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Marquette, the #3 seed in that bracket, was a heavy favorite over #14 seeded Davidson, but they got all they could handle from the underdogs. Survive and advance are the only 2 words that matter during this tournament. Check out the buzzer beater after the jump.
