Despite the cancellation of the NYC marathon that was supposed to take place today, hundreds of runners still run the marathon. Of course it wasn’t an official one, but they still ran. It was cancelled because of tragic aftermath of Sandy. Some were disappointed at the cancellation and blame the media for the negative publicity.
