Cee-Lo Green performed John Lennon’s song “Imagine” during his New Year’s Eve performance on ABC. He changed around some of the lyrics to give his own spin on it, and this OUTRAGED Lennon fans. After witnessing all the backlash, Cee responded. “Yo I meant no disrespect by changing the lyric guys!” he took to his Twitter to say. “I was trying to say a world were u could believe what u wanted that’s all.†He soon deleted the tweets. Assassinated Black Panther Fred Hampton’s Son Offended By Jay-Z’s Lyric Referencing His Father
Son of Black Panther Fred Hampton, Fred Hampton Jr., is not happy with Jay-Z. In Jay’s verse on “Murder To Excellence” off Watch The Throne, the emcee raps, “I arrived the same day Fred Hampton died.” To Fred Jr., this was highly offensive because his father did not just simply die, he was assassinated. Pitbull Responds to Lindsay Lohan’s Lawsuit Over His Song Lyric
Earlier this week we reported that Lindsay Lohan has plans to sue singer/rapper Pitbull over his latest track, Give Me Everything. The hit tune, written by Ne-Yo and Afrojack, has a lyric that goes, “Hustlers move in silence, so I’m tiptoein’ to keep flowin’/ I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.” SO wack and far-fetched to attempt a lawsuit out of that one, especially since Pit did nothing but state facts.
