A little under a year ago, The-Dream was forced to turn himself in to the NYPD for felony assault charges that were filed against him by his then-pregnant girlfriend, Lydia Nam, in 2013. Upon posting his own $20,000 bail the next day, the singer/songwriter spoke out on the situation, maintaining his innocence and later, some light was shed on just why Lydia would be making up such allegations.

Last month, The Dream was forced to turn himself in to the NYPD for felony assault, after his ex filed charges that the singer/songwriter had physically harmed her the year prior while she was pregnant with their child. He spoke on the incident once before (just after he was freed,) making it clear that she’s doing this strictly to stay in the country (he breaks it down here,) and now he’s speaking out once again. Outside of Mr. Chow on Sunday night, Dream reiterated his innocence…while also making a remark about people always gunning for his money.
