Around 9:30 a.m. in the Lincoln Tunnel, a New Jersey Transit bus hit the back of a bus operated by a private company, injuring 30+ individuals, says Joe Pentangelo with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. N.J. Transit bus driver, George Simpson, Jr., was arrested for committing a lewd act while driving a bus through the Lincoln Tunnel. The 41-year-old driver has also been charged with reckless driving, risking injury or damage by removing his hands from the steering wheel, and lewdness. Simpson, Jr. was caught on camera masturbating as he drove through traffic with a bus full of people, SMH! Watch more about the incident below.
Bank Robber Arrested While Trying To Run Through The Lincoln Tunnel
A man who pretended he had a gun and robbed four banks tried to make an escape by running through the Lincoln Tunnel to New Jersey after crashing car. He held up four Midtown banks in a span of an hour. Police were already on a chase when the man crashed his vehicle near the entrance of the tunnel. The man, who was not identified, was given a bundle a dye pack that exploded once he left the bank sensor causing him to speed away. Read more below.
