Drake’s Manager: Drake Being Blocked From The ‘Lil Weezyana Fest’ TIDAL Stream Has Nothing To Do With Apple

Since Tidal lifted off, since Lil Wayne publicly announced his separation from Ca$h Money and much more, there have been plenty of executive decisions (in my Kevin Hart voice) being made. Over the weekend, the first annual Lil Weezyana Fest popped off and the Tidal streaming of the show decided not to highlight the Drake performance, calling in “technical difficulties.” The Canadian artist’s manager reveals that the lack of stream had nothing to do with the deal he has with Apple. “The decision to not have Drake participate in the Tidal stream has nothing to do with Apple or Drake’s deal,” says Drake’s manager, Future The Prince. “Point blank, 100%.” Find out more after the jump.

Last night New Orleans welcomed home LiL Wayne & more for one of the most epic concerts of our time. For those that were Cash money day 1 fans , you realized how historic and awesome it was to see Manny fresh, Juvenile hit that stage like the old days with Lil Wayne. Even with a hint of the new school Young Money Cash Money’s Drizzy Drake was more than “turnt Up” on that stage. Lil Wayne Announces First Annual Lil Weezyana Fest In New Orleans

This is pretty dope. Next month, Lil Wayne will host his first-ever music festival, heading back to his New Orleans hometown for “Lil Weezyana Fest.” Though the lineup has not yet been announced, we do know that Tunechi will reunite the Hot Boys for the concert, which goes down at 7pm at Champions Square’s Bold Sphere Music on August 28. Pre-sale tickets begin today, July 8, while general public tickets go on sale on Saturday, July 11. Will you be in attendance?
