For a while now, there has been speculation that Lil Mama is taking shots at Nicki Minaj in her music, most recently with her summer freestyle over Drake’s “4pm In Calabasas.” On the song, she raps:
“Like I ain’t make these b*tches rock pink hair at some point!”
Lil Mama was one of the handful of women who were picked to pay homage to Lil Kim with a performance at the 2016 Hip-Hop Honors on Monday night. The Queen B has been taking time to individually thank each person with dedicated Instagram posts, and after a super sweet message to Teyana Taylor, she turned to Lil Mama. “@lilmama my Brooklynite sister! Lil Mama was just released after being arrested for driving without a license – stemming from an unaddressed speeding incident in 2013. Now she updates fans on the situation and apologizes to all of her supporters.
Lil Mama was arrested in her hometown of Harlem this morning, after cops discovered that she had no license when they pulled her over for going 10 miles over the speed limit at 4am. When officers ran her info, they discovered her license had been revoked and took her into custody. Not the worst offense, but she might want to get that taken care of upon her release!
