When did drinking, smoking and having sex at parties become not enough? A gay teen with Asperger’s Syndrome, a speech impairment and epilepsy went to a birthday party where he was dared to strip naked and people at the party wrote anti-gay slurs and threw tanning oil on him. Then a teen lit him on fire and he ended up dying the next day. The teen has been sentenced to 3.5 years in jail for manslaughter. Check out the video after the jump.

The “Call Me Maybe” singer, Carly Rae Jepsen as well as pop/rock group, Train have decided to pull themselves from a show that was SUPPOSE to be given at the National Scout Jamboree in Mount Hope, West Virginia in July. Since the booking, Jepsen has took to her twitter to express her feelings on why she will not be at the show stating, “I always have and will continue to support the LGBT community on a global level …” Train too, has decided to drop from the show saying that they will rejoin if the Boy Scouts of America changes their anti-gay laws. In all honesty, this is something I don’t think anyone should be forcing on a group like the Boy Scouts to conform to. This is an elite group. According to Train, they didn’t know about the rules of Boy Scouts, but come on…they have never allowed openly gay members in, so they need to stop acting brand new. New Jersey teen Jacob Rudolph took a stand for an entire community in front of his entire school. The musically gifted teen from Parsippany,NJ stood up for a speech and “came out” in front of his classmates and revealed his true sexual orientation. He said he is LGBT and he decided to take this stand for everyone that considers themselves from this community. He was brave enough to provoke criticism, but also to deaden rumors. Go Jacob! Frank Ocean Has Been Nominated For A GLAAD Media Award
GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) has nominated Frank Ocean to receive the Media Award, in the Outstanding Music Artist category. Other nominees include Adam Lambert and the Scissor Sister. The group stated, “This year’s nominees enlighten and entertain, but also reflect a new American landscape where a growing majority accept and value their LGBT family, colleagues and friends.
