This past week, Adrienne Bailon celebrated her 30th birthday (10/24) in her NYC hometown along side her close family and celebrity friends, while rockin’ an absolutely stunning white dress. Some of the A-listers who came out to show the former Cheetah Girls/ 3LW singer some B-Day love included Fab, Emily B, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Ne-Yo, Victor Cruz and his wife, amongst others. Check out a few flicks of Adrienne looking DROP DEAD GORGEOUS in the gallery!
Les links up with Loso once again to make “Green.” The track is on Leslie’s new project Black Mozart, which is free if one signs up to become a “renegade.” Whether interested or not, listen to the latest collaboration after the jump.
SneakerCon NYC went down this Saturday (July 13th) in the LES at Basketball City. The newly renovated building holds about 2600 people and let me tell you, it was packed! When I got there the line was about 350 people deep, props to the people who waited on that! Yikes! Inside I was greeted with a sea of vendors and collectors showing off their goods. The middle of the huge room was turned into a “camp grounds” where buyers/sellers stood claim over a small area and set up shop on the floor. Mutombo was there courtesy of Adidas, although the line to meet him was too long for me, I was taking a sneak pic of him once everyone was gone when he caught me, looked up, and gave me his signature “No No No” complete with finger wave and all (pic in gallery). Now there was one HUGE downfall of this event, there was hardly any ac! Looked like everyone just got done working out, not cool. It’s also crazy to see the transition of these events. As someone who has been attending various ones since 2008, I can say they have changed so much. Overall it’s always a good time though, especially at Sneakercon. But how do you feel about this new sneakerhead wave?? Let me know! Anyway check out my full recap (all pics taken by me) of SneakerCon NYC after the jump…
