As usual, Team USA’s mens basketball team has absolutely been destroying their opponents in exhibition games. On Monday they wrapped up their unbeaten exhibition tour with a 110-66 victory over Nigeria. Toronto Raptors duo Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan had the highlight of the game with this crazy alley-oop dunk.

The Cleveland Cavaliers obliterated the Toronto Raptors 116-78 during Game 5. The Raptors shot just 39% from the field; DeMar DeRozan had a team-high of 14 points while only hitting 2-of-8 from the field, and Kyle Lowry finished with 13 points on 5-of-12 shooting. They were the only two players on the team with double digits in scoring. The two did their postgame press conference together. While DeRozan was answering a question, Lowry read over the stats. The numbers apparently caught him by surprise.

There is certainly something strange going on with Kyle Lowry during this series against the Cavs. I’m not sure if he is feeling overwhelmed, or maybe hiding an injury but mentally he is not in the right place and that’s bad news for a Raptors team that already had no shot to win this series. During the middle of last night’s game, Lowry straight up walked off the court and headed to the locker room to “decompress”. What the hell does that even mean?? The theory about his mind being all over the place could be accurate because it’s also being reported that Lowry wanted to hang out with Cavs coach, Tyronn Lue and watch the OKC/Warriors game together.

Kyle Lowry put up 35 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists in the Toronto Raptors 116-89 win over the Miami Heat. He’ll now move on to the Eastern Conference Finals to face LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers who so far have swept both the Detroit Pistons and Atlanta Hawks. Lowry is looking forward to the challenge and during his postgame interview with ESPN’s Doris Burke, he took a subtle jab at James while mentioning Toronto’s upcoming series.

Kyle Lowry has some apologizing to do to this security guard at Air Canada Center. Lowry was walking into the arena ahead of game two for the Raptors against the Pacers when this security guard just tried to give him some dap. As he extends his arm, Lowry just happens to look away at the same time and keeps on walking and the guard is left to wonder what just happened. It obviously wasn’t done purposely but the timing was hilarious. The expression on his face is priceless.

Kyle Lowry has made some friends in the right places besides making a name for himself on the court. Last year Lowry was deserving of making the all-star game, but was snubbed instead and watched like the rest of us. This year things have changed and he and the Raptors are ballin’ which had led him to being named starting guard for the east. Very recently he was on the outside looking in as far as the votes go until Justin Bieber stepped up for him.
