KRS-One recently sat down with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN in their radio show and talked about many things like the legalization of weed, old school vs new school, the PM Dawn bumrush, etc. But there was this one section of the interview that really stood out and is probably going to have older hip hop fans scratching their heads.
The always inspiring hip-hop legend KRS-One asks a thought-provoking question in: “What happened to all those KKK robes? We know what happened to the Black Panther jackets, they have holes and red liquid.” Hit the jump for a minute and a half video on questioning the KKK with KRS-One.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis decide to liberate one the most anticipated tracks “BuckShot” featuring KRS One & DJ Premier, off their upcoming album This Unruly Mess I’ve Made which drops February 25th.
Big Pun, Diddy, Eminem, Fat Joe, Jay-Z, Nas, Juelz Santana, Cam’Ron, Irv Gotti, 50 Cent, B-Real, KRS One, Pastor Troy, Busta Rhymes and countless others all took place in Noreaga’s What What project back in the ’90s. The documentary was scrapped for some reason, but the eight minute trailer still exists. The quality of the trailer is a bit rough (I mean it is from the 90’s) but it’s so crazy to see all of these names in one trailer and how these young stars have grown to be the names in hip hop they are today. It’s great to look back on the hip hop we all know and love. Hopefully something will come of the entire documentary, but for now check out the trailer below. Warning there is some nudity in the video.
