(Video) NBA: Stephen A Smith Reports KD & Kobe Joining Melo With The Knicks Next Season Is A Real Possibility

I cringed this morning while watching ESPN’s “First Take” as Stephen A Smith dropped a report that was sure to have people’s imaginations running wild. Smith stated he has been “hearing” that Kevin Durant AND Kobe Bryant could both wind up in New York next year with Carmelo. We are already going to hear countless rumors during the season about KD’s impending free agency and we didn’t need Smith to start the nonsense this early.

NBA: Kobe Bryant Appears on Shaquille O’Neal’s Podcast & Discuss Regrets Over Their Feud

The feud between Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant has long been buried, but the two have managed to avoid a one-on-one sit-down in which they publicly discussed what went wrong in Los Angeles—until now.  Bryant appeared on O’Neal’s podcast, The Big Podcast With Shaq, which will air Monday on PodCastOne.com, and the pair addressed their past head-on.  We have a sneak preview of what was said.

(Photo) NBA: Crazy Fan Gets Tattoo Of Kobe Bryant & Michael Jordan That He Will Definitely Regret

Here is a big fan of the NBA who will regret his decision much later in life to get tattoo’s of two of the greatest players ever. Dude got profile tat’s of the GOAT on one leg and the Black Mamba on the other. The ink itself is dope and the artist did a great job. He finished it off with the words “I Love This Game” but odds are he won’t love the tattoo when he becomes an older man. Check the gallery!

NBA: Kobe Bryant Responds to Critics (Charles Barkley) Saying He Needs to Retire

Charles Barkley is known for giving his unfiltered, honest opinion and that’s just what he did when discussing Kobe Bryant.  Barkley said this upcoming season should be Kobe’s last, a farewell tour.  He used examples like Michael Jordan and Patrick Ewing to demonstrate the ills of playing past your expiration date.  Of course the Black Mamba didn’t take that lightly and as usual responded to his critic.

NBA: Charles Barkley Wants Kobe Bryant to Retire: ‘Old people don’t get healthy; they die’

Kobe Bryant has played just 41 games over the past two seasons due to injury and has one-year left on his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.  If you know Kobe however, you know he wants to go out on his own terms.  Though he’s hinted that this could be his last season, he has refused to confirm that he will retire.  Charles Barkley hopes he does.

(Video) NBA: Rare Footage Of A Young Kobe Bryant Doing The “Elbow Dunk” Years Before Vince Carter

When Vince Carter put on the best dunk contest performance ever back in 2000, one of the jaw dropping dunks was when he put his elbow through the hoop and just hung there. Fans and players stared in shock, not really sure what to think before realizing how high he had to be in the first place to do that. Nobody had ever seen it before but it turns out a young Kobe Bryant did the same thing a few years earlier while doing a tour of the Philippines in 1998. The younger, afro version of the Black Mamba made it look pretty easy himself.
