Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Toney Douglas lined up those loud green sneakers behind the arc one last time and let it fly.  When the ball went through, the New York Knicks had to rewrite their record book. Douglas tied a franchise record by making nine of the Knicks’ franchise-record 20 3-pointers, scoring 29 points in a 120-99 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night that snapped a three-game losing streak.
Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl The Knicks play the Pacers on Tuesday night, but Mike D’Antoni isn’t worried about Indiana.  He’s more concerned with his own team. D’Antoni watched film of the Knicks’ 106-93 loss to the Pacers on Monday morning and labeled it a “horror show.”  “We just didn’t play well,” the Knicks coach said. “I don’t think we had the right energy and we got frustrated and when we do that we just kind of revert back to just trying to beat people up on the offensive end.”
Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Chauncey Billups scrimmaged with the New York Knicks Saturday and was highly optimistic that he’ll be able to return Sunday against the Indiana Pacers following a six-game absence due to a deep thigh bruise. “It felt good, now I’m just hoping I don’t have any setbacks between now and tomorrow. If not, I look forward to playing tomorrow,” Billups said after the Knicks’ 90-minute session.
Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl As rumors swirl that Carmelo Anthony is heading to New York or Los Angeles, the Denver Nuggets forward said he’s thinking about staying put. Anthony said he would “take a real hard look” at signing a three-year, $65 million extension with the Nuggets if he isn’t dealt by the NBA’s Feb. 24 deadline, according to the Denver Post.
