For a rapper, to crowned King in any city can be an amazing honor but to be crowned King of New York City is comparable to being King of the world. It’s an iconic title and in the past included names like Notorious B.I.G., Jay Z and Nas. However in the most recent times fans of hip-hop have named none other than Fabolous with the title. Hold up…is it just me, or do y’all realize a dude from Compton…and a dude from Philly…are beefing over a verse about a “King Of NY” title? What level to this sh*t is that? Anyway, we have some interesting beef brewing here folks, and it’s looking like it’s about to get good! As we all know, Kendrick Lamar called out a large handful of his rap peers on “Control” last month, a throwaway record from Big Sean that also featured Jay Electronica. J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Sean, Jay, Tyler the Creator and Mac Miller all got the bird call, but only one out of all of them responded: Meek.


A$AP Ferg Responds To Kendrick Lamar’s Claim To Being The “King Of NY”

A$AP Mob’s next up A$AP Ferg recently sat down with GQ Magazine to discuss his debut album Trap Lord before it hits stores tomorrow. While talking about the project, his love for fashion, collaborating with Waka Flocka and more, he found time to add a comment about Kendrick Lamar’s verse on “Control.” As you know by now, K.
