In 2014, Kevin Roper was driving a Walmart truck on the New Jersey Turnpike when he plowed into a limo; killing one man and severely injuring comedian Tracy Morgan. Although a National Transportation Safety Board concluded, after an investigation, that Morgan and the other occupant of the limo were not wearing seatbelts, it also concluded Roper was sleep deprived. Ever since the fatal car accident that went down on Saturday in New Jersey leaving comedian Tracy Morgan in critical condition, the news has been over-loading with stories on the incident. Kevin Roper, the truck driver who’s being held responsible for the whole ordeal, has been speaking out via his Twitter account. “I wish it was me and I can’t express how horrible I feel,” he says. He also went on to explain how if a celebrity was NOT involved in this accident, he would not be getting charged for anything. “[I’m being blamed] because a famous person was involved.” He wrote, “I was never charged at the scene of the accident because once again I was not guilty of any crime. Not until all the TV cameras came.” Roper also denied ALL allegations implying he was drunk and high or that he was up straight for 24+ hours. He concluded his Twitter rant saying, So yes i am now most likely f****d because i had an unfortunate ACCIDENT with the wrong car that night.” He was charged with death by auto and will most likely be looking at a decent amount of jail time.

This past weekend, comedian Tracy Morgan was in a huge car accident that left him in critical condition along with another man dead. The truck driver of the 18-wheeler who caused the accident, Kevin Roper, has been charged with death by auto since the incident. However, the New York Daily News recently exposed a tweet of Ropers where he bragged about his extreme road rage. His tweet read, “Trying to win more than lose! Driving trucks for a living. It’s my road. Move or get hit! #Walmart.” Shortly after the story broke, his Twitter page became private. According to Roper’s friends, his Twitter account is real along with the suspect tweets.
