NBA: Report, Jay Z Tried To Get Kevin Durant To Meet With Nets & Knicks But He Declined

Jay Z is a powerful guy, especially in the sports world with his Roc Nation Sports but for the first time in likely a while, he felt what it was like to be powerless. He reportedly tried to have Kevin Durant, who is under his Roc Nation umbrella, to meet with both the Nets & Knicks but apparently his request fell on deaf ears.


NBA: Clippers Reported Pitch to Kevin Durant: Take Less Money to Play With ‘Big 4’

Free agency officially begins tomorrow July 1, but the Oklahoma City Thunder are meeting with Kevin Durant today since he’s technically still apart of the team.  Durant will then meet with the Golden State Warriors on Friday in the morning, the Los Angeles Clippers also on Friday but later in the day, with the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, the Boston Celtics later on Saturday, and conclude his weekend with the Miami Heat on Sunday.  Each team is preparing their pitch to the mega free agent, and the Clippers have an interesting approach.

Names like Russell Westbrook, Steph Curry, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis and so on decided the time wasn’t right for them. Things looked gloomy but this week the team has come into focus and it’s safe to say the Gold medal should still reside in the U.S. when the games are over, even with Lebron James taking a pass as well.
