(Video) NBA: Kevin Durant Reacts to Jay Z, Drake, J. Cole & More Dropping His Name in Songs

Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant (still sounds weird), has been named dropped in a quite a few songs.  Sports and hip hop often go hand in hand and as a moonlighting rapper himself, Durant says he’s honored that rappers he looks up to, used his name in their songs.  Durant did an interview with Genius and discussed Drake, Jay Z, Wale, Logic and J. Cole all dropping his name in their songs.

(Photos) NBA: Thunder Fans Get Back At Durant For Leaving By Giving His Restaurant Horrible Reviews

Some OKC fans are very understanding about Kevin Durant deciding to take his talents to the bay area. They appreciated what he did for their city and community for the past eight years and they know he gave them everything he had on the basketball court. On the flip side however, there are some fans who are not so easy going about him leaving. We’ve seen the people burning jerseys and running their mouths but some fans are getting their own revenge in a different way.

NBA: Steve Nash May Be The Main Reason Kevin Durant Decided To Sign With The Warriors

Kevin Durant played with an elite point guard in OKC. He will be playing with another elite point guard when the season stars with the Warriors. Turns out though that another elite point guard, albeit a retired one, may have had more to do with him changing teams than either Westbrook or Curry.

NBA: Report, Thunder Teammates Were Upset With KD’s Relationship With Warriors Players

Kevin Durant decided to take his talents to the Bay Area and play with the Golden State Warriors for next season and maybe some Thunder players are actually fine with that. Reports are saying that long before his decision, teammates on the Thunder were not feeling how friendly Durant was with Warriors players. Anytime a marquee player leaves one franchise for another, there are bound to be reports and comments from former teammates or people affiliated with the team that can’t always be trusted but this seems pretty legit.

(Photos) Sports: Lebron, KD, Others Speak On Alton Sterling, Philando Castile & Dallas PD Ambush

Nobody is immune to feeling some type of emotion with all the police related incidents that have happened this week. Alton Sterling and Philando Castile both lost their lives this week in separate interactions with police that most people with common sense would know didn’t have to happen. People were angry and justifiably so as yet again, black men were executed by police without the need for that type of force to be used. Last night, things escalated even worse, as members of the Dallas PD were ambushed by a gunman and possibly others, which resulted in the deaths of five police officers and at least one innocent bystander. Athletes might make way more money than us but they feel the same things we do and many of them, including Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Deion Sanders and more took to social media to vent.

NBA: 2017-18 Salary Cap to be Lower Than Expected; Warriors Might Not be Able to Keep Durant

The salary cap for this upcoming season went up to an astounding $94 million.  It was expected to be even higher for the 2017-18 season, and while it will be higher, it won’t be as high as expected.
