First Week Sales Projections For Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz

Numbers…or therefore lack of. Tunechi & 2 Chainz collaborative album ColleGrove is reportedly not projected to do so hot in it’s first week on the charts. Earlier this week, TDE CEO Top Dawg said that a member of TDE would be dropping an album by the end of the week. Now the wait is over, because it seems as if Kendrick is the one dropping. Earlier tonight Spotify uploaded a new album by Kendrick titled, “untitled. unmastered.” As of the moment the album is unplayable, but the rumor is that the album will be available at midnight. Keep it locked.


Kendrick Lamar’s TPAB Shot Back Into The Top 20 On Billboard Because Of The Grammys

Not many new projects were released last week, so this week’s Billboard 200 chart doesn’t see much of a change. Adele is back at number one following Future‘s brief reign, as he falls to number ten in his second week with EVOL. Meanwhile, Rihanna is holding tight at number 3 with ANTI. Elsewhere on the chart, Kendrick Lamar sees a huge surge in sales of To Pimp A Butterfly, thanks to his stellar performance at the Grammys last Monday night. The album comes in at number 16, moving 33k units for the week. Check out this week’s full top 10 below!

The Staples Center was a star-studded event for the game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors on Saturday night. Beyoncé, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Floyd Mayweather, Jamie Foxx and DJ Khaled were all in attendance.  Of course plenty of photos were taken of the celebs but Bey, Jay and Kendrick sitting together sparked some hilarious memes.
