NEW MUSIC: Kendrick Lamar Ft Ab-Soul & Jay Rock-The Heart Pt 3. (Will Let It Die)

Kendrick Lamar released his third installment of “The Heart” this time featuring TDE members Ab-Soul and Jay Rock. The Tae Beast produced track didn’t make it on Kendrick’s good kid, m.A.A.d city probably because he just finished recording it last night in a Vegas studio. Listen below. Julie A.


Pharrell Compares Kendrick Lamar To Which Legend?!

Pharrell has worked with countless artist over the years and his record is pretty good when it comes to co-signing artist, but this co-sign might be a little too much too soon. Pharrell took to his Twitter account to tell the world how he really feels about Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick has caused quiet the buzz, having one of the most anticipated albums of 2012, winning this year’s Lyricist of the Year Award at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards, and being one of the most talked about rappers this year amongst the hip hop community. There’s no doubt that Kendrick is a great rapper and has potential to be even greater, but it’s way to early in his career for Pharrell to compare him to the legend that he did. (Video) Kendrick Lamar In The Studio With Andre 3000 & Dr. Dre

Kendrick Lamar’s much anticipated album will hit stores next Tuesday, October 23. One of the tracks on the forthcoming album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, is “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe.” While in the studio one day, Kendrick played the track for Andre 3K and Dr. Dre and it seems as if it got their approval.
