A lot of people are obsessed with the royal family and probably wouldn’t mind working for them and now could be their chance. The Buckingham Palace has released a job listing to assist the Duchess and Prince at their home in Kensington Palace as well as in their other homes. I cannot image what the screening process to work for the members of the royal family must be. In the past, the royal family has employed more than a dozen people at a time to help with their housework and daily needs, but Kate and Will have stated that they want to keep their staff small, even saying that they will not be hiring a full-time nanny. Kate Middleton is known for her beauty, but someone forgot to tell the person who painted the Duchess of Cambridge’s first portrait. The portrait made it’s debut today in London’s National Portrait Gallery, but it’s pretty ugly. According to Paul Emsley, it took him months to create the portrait of the pregnant Duchess using layers of oil and glaze. Kate and William viewed the portrait already in a private viewing and they both said that it was beautiful, but I’m sure they really didn’t think that after seeing it.
