ReVolt TV hosted a shout out to the MC from Jonesboro, Louisanna who had nothing but great things in front of him. Lil’ Snupe was killed at the age of 18, and hundreds showed up to his funeral this past weekend at Hodge High School. He “inspired the whole city. He touched the mayor, he touched the police station he touched the hood, he touched everybody. He unified the whole town and when you lose him, it tears the town down but they strong though. When I was in Jonesoboro, I seen a lot of Lil Snupes in there. They won’t tell you that while you livin’ but when you gone, they see it,” said one of the attendees.

Meek pays tribute to Snupe, born Addarren Ross, who was gunned down in Louisiana just days ago. After Snupe gave Meek one of his demos at Grambling State University, he received a call from Meek, who saw “potential in him,” in less than an hour. He would go on to sign with Meek’s label.
