Aw man. The Carter’s are about to take over the game once more. A joint album with Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z is reportedly coming soon. This is going to be too lit.
We recently reported that Fat Joe and Remy Ma will be releasing a joint album very soon. Recently, Fat Joe stopped by DJ EFN’s ‘Drink Champs’ podcast to give us a few more details on the upcoming project. While we still don’t have an exact release date, Joe did reveal the title of the album will be ‘Platas o Plomo’ meaning ‘Money or Bullets.’ Check out the video below for all the details.
SO DOPE! Fat Joe recently revealed that he and Remy Ma plan to release a joint album later this year. In an interview with HipHopWired, he spoke about the work he’s been putting in with his fellow Bronx MC, including their new single, “All the Way Up” featuring French Montana and beginning of filming the video. Fat Joe dished, “Me and Remy just wrapped up a new album,” adding, “Just me and Remy. I’m super excited about that. The album is ridiculous. So we’ve been working musically like crazy.” While album currently does not have a titled he continued, “I have the title, but we’re trying to see if we can legally use the title,” adding “Until I hear back from the lawyers…it’s an ill title, bro. But I gotta see if I can legally use it. I patented it but I’m trying to make sure I can say and use it, but it’s ill.” While we wait for the title and release date, check out Joey and Remy’s latest Instagram flicks in the gallery.
C-Murder is serving a life sentence at Louisiana State Penitentiary, while Boosie Badazz was released in 2014 after a lengthy bid for drug charges. Suffice to say, both rappers know a thing or two about being behind bars, so they’ve decided to team up to tell their tales on a joint album, Penitentiary Chances. “That’s just them two linking up on an album, doing something they always wanted to do, but never got a chance to do,” C-Murder’s artist Vs told AllHipHop. “By them both being incarcerated, they had time to put their heads together and come up with a project.” It still boggles my mind how artists can record so much from behind bars, but nonetheless… Penitentiary Chances is set to drop April 15.
