John Elway III, the son of Denver Bronco’s executive and legendary NFL player John Elway has been arrested and jailed over the weekend for domestic violence.
Andrew Luck set the school record for the most career touchdown passes and eclipsed his own single-season mark, throwing for 233 yards and four scores to lead fourth-ranked Stanford past No. 22 Notre Dame 28-14 in his home finale Saturday night. Â Luck topped John Elway’s record of 77 touchdown passes and helped the Cardinal (11-1) build a 21-0 halftime lead. John Elway took plenty of heat for affirming the conventional wisdom across the league: Tim Tebow must improve his passing and his third-down conversions if he is to succeed in the NFL.  While his legion of supporters took to Twitter and the airwaves to assail Elway for not sticking up for Denver’s young quarterback, Tebow ever so graciously agreed with his boss, saying he most certainly has to complete more passes and find ways for his team to stay on the field.  Read more after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl The Denver Broncos and John Elway have reached an agreement for the two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback to join the team’s front office this week as an executive vice president, team sources have told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. “John’s intelligence, his leadership, business savvy, his knowledge of the game, and competitive fire — plus the respect that everyone in this building will have for him — will make us better right away,” Joe Ellis, the Broncos’ chief operating officer, told The Denver Post of owner Pat Bowlen’s sentiments, without confirming Elway’s hire.
