STEEZ Day 2016 Announced
In honor of the late Capital STEEZ, Pro Era has announced their second annual STEEZ Day concert. This year, they move the festivities over to the west coast – which is odd, considering they all hail from NYC. On Thursday, July 7, Pro Era (Joey Bada$$, Nyck Caution, CJ Fly and Kirk Knight) as well as the A$AP Mob, Danny Brown, Raury and more will take over The Novo in Los Angeles, with proceeds going to benefit Steez’s family. In a new sit-down with Vlad TV, Brooklyn native Maino spoke on the beef between his fellow BK rappers, Troy Ave and Joey Bada$$. Cool with both, Maino says he wanted to help squash it, but that it’s something he feels he should leave alone. He also noted that Troy’s diss to the deceased Capital STEEZ was “a bit much,” but commends him for not backing down amid the backlash that followed. Check out the whole interview below.
