Joe Philbin is trying to relate to his players or just earn brownie points, either way I’m sure they aren’t complaining. According to Miami Herald columnist Armando Salguero, Philbin decided to cancel a very boring part of practice and instead took the squad on a field trip to the movies to see Straight Outta Compton. This is a make or break year for him as head coach and he may just want to bond better with some of the guys. He better hope these same guys show up on Sunday’s once the season starts.
