After a crazy journey being a cast-member on MTV’s reality TV series Jersey Shore, Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi is finally a married woman and a mother! She wed with her long-time boyfriend Jioanni LaValle in a 1920s-inspired wedding held at The Venetian in Garfield, New Jersey. Her fellow cast mates from the show were in attendance including Jenni “Jwoww” Farley, Deena Cortese, Samantha “Sammi” Giancola, Ronnie Margo, Roger Mathews and Pauly D. However, for obvious reasons and to avoid any type of awkward encounters– Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Vinny Guadagnino did not attend the event. Yikes: Guess Which ‘Jersey Shore’ Star Is Facing Up To 3 Years In Prison For Tax Fraud!
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has just been indicted on tax fraud charges and can face up to 3 years maximum in federal prison if he’s found guilty. Unfortunately for the Jersey Shore star, he also won’t be able to drink until his trial date. He and his brother are both caught up in this legal mess due to failing to pay taxes on $9 million dollars worth of business endeavors they have together. Mike was released on a $250,000 bond and is currently awaiting his trial date. “Michael and Marc Sorrentino filed false tax returns that incorrectly reported millions made from promotions and appearances,” U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman explained to The Star-Ledger about the Sorrentino brother’s legal issues. “The brothers allegedly also claimed costly clothes and cars as business expenses and funneled company money into personal accounts. The law is absolutely clear: telling the truth to the IRS is not optional.”
