NFL: Troy Aikman Says Dallas Fans Go to Games to Be Seen Not to Cheer

Sabrina B. What in the world?!  Cowboys owner Jerry Jones appears in a commercial for Papa John’s pizza…and he’s rapping. SMH. Jones actually has a pretty decent stake in the company — he acquired six franchises in the Austin, Texas area in 2005 under the “Star Papa” umbrella, and now, there’s this. According to the Austin Business Journal, Star Papa owned 78 such restaurants in Texas with those acquisitions, and had 75 in early 2011, when Jones hosted Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium. Jones has Papa John’s pizza all over that stadium, and he makes a cut of every slice you buy. Check it out:


NFL: Eli Manning Responds To Jerry Jones ‘Beating The Giants’ Ass’ Comment

Sabrina B. Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles have never won a Super Bowl, but that didn’t stop the quarterback from suggesting the franchise is inching toward a dynasty. Eli Manning has guided the New York Giants to a pair of championships, but has shrugged off the “D” word. Manning told “NFL AM” his immediate focus is to improve on last year’s 9-7 mark.
