The New York Knicks defeated the Washington Wizards in a nail biter last night 117-110. Knicks Star Carmelo Anthony erupted for 37 points, hitting 4-5 three pointers along the way. Initially struggling to start the season, Anthony had some added motivation and it came from an unlikely source.

The Clippers were once the little brothers in LA but obviously things have changed. Last night they took on their inner-city rival the Lakers and things got out of hand quickly. The Clippers dropped 43 points in the first quarter and by the end of the half they had a 70-52 lead over the Lakers. The Clippers ended up winning 123-87 with 36-point blowout. Following the game some interesting quotes were released.
