You just had to know somewhere in the background of the whole Steve Kerr fiasco, James Dolan had to be lurking right? Now it seems that may be true according to reports. People around the NBA were shocked when Kerr turned down Phil Jackson and the Knicks after thinking it was a done deal. Now there is word that Dolan never wanted him to begin with but wasn’t going to tell Phil Jackson no. Instead he just played with the years and money offered on the contract.
