After releasing the posthumous J Dilla album, The Diary, Pay Jay and Mass Appeal Records produce a short documentary about how the project was completed for the legend.
After years of pushbacks and anticipation, Hip-Hop heads can finally rejoice because J.Dilla’s rap album, “The Diary” is finally here. The 16 track project features verses from Nas, Snoop Dogg, Kokane Bilal and much more. The production on the album is handled by Madlib, Pete Rock, Hi-Tek, Kareem Riggins, Bink, Nottz and more. This Friday Mass Appeal will be releasing J Dilla’s posthumous rap album, “The Diary.” Today they drop the bonus track, “The Sickness” featuring Nas, which is the song that Nas premiered last month during Mass Appeals SXSW showcase. Listen to the track after the jump.
