This mess just had me in an awe yesterday! After a fan posted a picture of him holding a gun to his little sister’s face was sent to J. Cole’s page requesting a retweet, in fear for the little girl’s life – he did it. I was sitting back wondering, when the hell someone was going to step in. NOW, of course this 19-year-old from Texas is claiming that it all was a joke…MY A**! Hit the jump to see what the teen as well as Texas police had to say. Threatened
Everyone is so focused on Kanye, Mac Miller and J. Cole that Kelly Rowland is being pushed to the back of the line. Yesterday (June 18th), Kelly Rowland’s ‘Talk A Good Game‘ was released, and she’s making her promo rounds. She performed on Good Morning America with Pusha T, and she was spotted in NYC on her way to the Wendy Williams Show. Go girl! How you doin?! Hit the jump and check her rock the yellow.
Today was a REALLY big day in music, with Kanye West, J. Cole, Mac Miller, Kelly Rowland and Statik Selektah all dropping new albums for the masses. The big talk has been Kanye versus Cole for the number one spot, but I think people are unfairly leaving Mac out of that conversation! He had a HUGE debut with his first album back in 2011, and with relatively NO airplay, at that. Who do you think will take home that top spot next week? Take the poll below and let us know!
Some people will go to any lengths to get their favorite celebrity’s attention…even if it means pointing a gun at their little sister and threatening to kill them! A kid behind the Twitter handle @_tzc_ did just that last night, telling J. Cole on Twitter that if he gets a RT, he’ll buy his new album Born Sinner (out today), but if not, the gun he had pointing at his little sister would go off. Hopefully he was just saying that for shock value, but just in case, Cole RT’d the message. He then reacted to it, saying, “Wildest sh*t I ever seen on twitter.” I wouldn’t say the wildest, but it’s definitely up there.
