According to reports, high-profile bail bondsman Ira Judelson (who has bailed out the likes of Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Ja Rule, DMX, Plaxico Burress and more) has officially posted the $2 million bail money for Bobby Shmurda, and he could be freed as early as today. Bobby had been behind bars at Riker’s Island for 6 weeks since getting arrested along with 14 other members of his GS9 crew (including rising star Rowdy Rebel,) and has been moved to the Manhattan Detention Complex, known as “The Tombs,” following Friday’s bail posting. From here, the city will now have up to 72 hours to review the bail package, and if they’re “playing fair, there will be no need for a hearing,” Kenneth Montgomery, Bobby’s lawyer, said.
