The countries of Samoa and Tokelau have decided to skip over today, Friday, December 30th 2011, to align their time zones with key traders and business partners.  Samoa and Tokelau are now on the same time zone as Australia and New Zealand instead of a day before. Thousands gather to watch the skipping of Friday at midnight on Thursday as the country and data services prepared to make the proper adjustments made. Read more after the jump. Julie1205
