You kids gon’ learn today about cyber-bullying. People seem to think it has no real repercussions because they get to hide behind a screen and it’s “just Twitter” or “just Instagram,” but words are real and they can cost you. One young woman found this out the hard way last night, when she took it upon herself to go under actress Tia Mowry’s recent photo and say she’s “getting fat.” Real nice. Tia, deciding to make an example out of the “fan,” particularly because she is an advocate against body-shaming, had quite the clap-back – not only getting the girl ALL the way together, but letting her employer in on their employee’s shenanigans. Yasss, Tia! Go AWF! What’s sad is this lady is (well, was) a part of a mentorship program for young women, SMH! Check out what the company had to say in response.
Chris Brown Calls Tinashe, Zendaya + More “Children” After They Distance Themselves From Him For Kehlani Comments
In the wake of the insensitive comments Chris Brown made toward 20-year-old singer Kehlani and her attempt at suicide following some severe cyber-bullying, several female singers have distanced themselves from him – despite having current singles that feature him. Zendaya’s song with Chris, “Something New,” is doing good on rhythmic radio. A video was set to be on its way, but she has now unfollowed him on all social networks, and deleted every post related to the collab. The ultimate shade would be replacing him on the song! I’m so here for it. Tinashe’s song “Player” features Chris as well, and she has also unfollowed him on her social networks. The song wasn’t gaining that much traction, however, so she isn’t missing much of a beat by distancing herself. In a recent interview, she did she’d be working with him again on more music, but I’m going to assume that’s no longer happening.
Kehlani Returns Home From The Hospital & Sends Message To The Fans
As previously reported, 20-year-old singer Kehlani became the butt of social media’s jokes earlier this week when it appeared that she cheated on NBA star Kyrie Irving with ex-boyfriend, PartyNextDoor. She deleted her Instagram in the midst of the fire on Monday, then reappeared later that night from a hospital bed, revealing that she’d tried to take her own life, but PND had saved her. In another now-deleted post from last night, Kehlani revealed that she has since returned home from the hospital, and is now on the road to recovery. We wish you the best and hope that you get whatever help you need!
