NBA: Report, Derrick Rose Could Return Much Sooner Than Expected?

When it was reported earlier this week that Derrick Rose was going to need another procedure on his right knee we all likely had the same reaction…it’s over for him! Not only just him, but over for the Bulls as far as this season is concerned as well. Rose has shown in the past he at times is not mentally tough, which is even more important when it comes to injuries. The good news in this case is now that a few days have passed, more info has become available and Rose’s injury may not be so bad after all and could lead to him returning during the regular season.

Chicago Bulls fans gotta be feeling like this can’t be life right now. Derrick Rose will need another surgery on his right knee, and although it doesn’t appear to be as serious as previous injuries, he is still likely to miss the rest of the season.

Kevin Durant is going to miss at least a week of game action, and then will be re-evaluated at that point to see how to move forward. This announcement was made after he had to have minor surgery on the same foot he had surgery on in the off season, which caused him to miss a huge chunk of games this year.


NBA: Report, Paul George To Return From Gruesome Leg Injury In March!

If things go right, we could be seeing a PG-13 movie the rest of the NBA season with the return of Paul George. In case you don’t know, he has changed his number from 24 to 13, to align with him new nickname “PG-13”. Obviously after a catastrophic injury like the one he had, nobody knows for sure how much of his game will return immediately, but in the weak eastern conference, his return could very well propel the Pacers into the playoffs, even if it looks like a long shot now.


NBA: Report, After Seeing Doctor, Kobe Bryant Is DONE For The Season With Torn Rotator Cuff

According to reports, the Los Angeles Lakers are shutting Kobe Bryant down for the rest of the season. Bryant injured his rotator cuff earlier this week against the Pelicans, and the team said they would wait till he was examined by doctors back in LA, before commenting. They meet with team doctors this morning and determined the best idea was to end Bryant’s season. It makes the most sense for the big picture anyway because this season for the Lakers was over in November. This will give his body time to rest for one final push next season, as well as give the Lakers a chance to secure a top five pick in the draft by continuing to play horrible.
