NFL: Mark Sanchez “Likely To Have Surgery” That Will End His 2013 Season

It’s about to be official, the Mark Sanchez era is over.  It’s Geno Smith’s time to shine!  I have a feeling Jets fans aren’t too upset about this news. Mark Sanchez will likely to have season-ending shoulder surgery, which would almost certainly end his time as a Jet.  Report after the jump…

NFL:(Video) Giants RB Andre Brown Fractures Leg, Could Miss Entire Season

You have to feel for Andre Brown. Last season he was on his way to having a breakout season early on, when he broke his leg and was forced to miss the entire season. He had already previously missed an entire season back in 2009 after tearing his achilles. Now last night in the final preseason game against the Patriots, he fractured his leg, which could wind up leaving him on the sidelines or without a job. He was going to be a very important part of the offense, making up a 1-2 punch with other running back David Wilson. Brown however is the better overall back, so this is a big loss. With final cuts this week, hopefully the Giants will keep him on the roster. Some doctors are saying he could be back in as little as 8 weeks, because the fracture does not require surgery. *Updated* (PHOTOS) WWE: Ummm, Have You Seen John Cena’s Elbow?!

WWE star John Cena will miss 4-6 months due to surgery because he has a torn triceps.  He made the announced Monday night during WWE Raw where he also showed what his elbow looks like after not having surgery weeks ago when it was recommended. Yea, it doesn’t good.  Check it out…

SMH: Report Of Raz-B Being On “Life Support” Was All FAKE

I absolutely knew it. SMH, there’s something really wrong with Raz-B and his need for attention. Over the weekend, the former B2K singer was involved in a brawl during a performance in China (people are still booking him?) and ended up with some injuries to the face, as seen in the photo above. Nothing looks too life threatening there, but reports soon surfaced that he was in a coma and fighting for his life. Then suddenly the next day, he completely pulled through and was expected to make a full recovery. (“Doctors say its a miracle and told his family that he stands a strong chance of survival and no signs of being brain dead for the rest of his life,” part of the press release read. “Against all odds,Raz woke up this morning and is in stable condition.”) It sounded sketchy from the beginning, and it turns out…it was all a hoax. Currently, Raz and his team are saying they didn’t put that word out, a publicist they’d hired did and they didn’t authorize it. Right. “The comments about Raz being in a coma did not come from his official representative,” Raz’s manager Elayne Rivers said in a statement today. He’s just SO corny it makes me ill.

*Updated with Video* NFL: Tom Brady Leaves Patriots Practice with Knee Injury

Tebow time?! Everyone just CHILL!!! Tom Brady has left practice due to an apparent knee injury. We don’t know how bad it is just yet.  Brady stayed down after incomplete pass & was holding his left knee (the same knee that ended his 2008 season (torn ACL)).  Hopefully, Brady is ok — my team or not, I never like to see a player injured.   ps. Yes, it’s Tim Tebow’s birthday today — let the jokes roll Report after the jump…
