In ’09 Beyonce had the honors of singing Etta James’ “At Last” for Barack and Michelle Obama as they took over the White House. For his 2nd term, Jennifer Hudson was blessed with the opportunity to perform Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” for the first couple as they took over the dance floor. Hudson was rather extra excited, tweeting, “Right now the President and First Lady will dance to Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together,’ to be performed by… ME!!! Yes! Amazing night!” Good for you J. Hud! She also tweets while she’s there and says, “Just danced to ‘Let’s Stay Together’ with the love of my life and the President of the United States. I’m so proud of Barack” Dope!
