(Photos) Sports: ESPN Dedicates Huge New Plaque In Memory Of Stuart Scott

Stuart Scott may physically be gone after fighting cancer until the end. but his memory, especially with sports fans, will live on forever. Yesterday ESPN made sure you won’t be able to walk through the halls without thinking of him as they unveiled a huge plaque in Scott’s honor and his daughters were on hand for the event. Stu’s catch phrase of “Boo-Yah” was given eternal life when they revealed the plaque and I must say they did a great job. Respect to ESPN for the classy move and as always, RIP Stuart Scott. Changing A Community’s Name In The Memory Of Paul Walker? Might Happen!

There’s a war brewing over the street Paul Walker died on … one group of fans are trying to pay tribute to the late actor by re-naming the road after him — while many residents want nothing to do with the idea. A petition with several thousand signatures has been circulating online — asking the city of Santa Clarita to change the street’s name to “Walker Rodas Memorial Parkway.” Here’s the problem … most residents are saying no way … because Paul did nothing for the community. Regardless … the petition has managed to rack up almost 2K signatures … and counting. City councilman TimBen Boydston says the street can only be renamed with support of the community … so it’s still up in the air.
