(Photos) Dr. Dre Celebrates N.W.A. Biopic Wrap With Party At His L.A. Mansion

The N.W.A. biopic has officially wrapped, and Dr. Dre celebrated this weekend with a huge bash at his California crib. Of course all of the film’s actors were there, and also spotted in the photos thus far were the late Eazy-E‘s family, Xzhibit and DJ Mustard. (That doesn’t mean other big names weren’t there, I just haven’t come across those photos yet.) Straight Outta Compton hits theaters August 2015. Check out more pics from the party below.

On Saturday night, it was a total West Side takeover at the Verizon Amphitheater in Irvine, CA, as Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and The Game headlined the sold out ‘How The West Was Won’ concert. Over 15k people came out to see Game, Snoop and Cube do what they do best, as well as DJ Quik, Suga Free, Too Short, E-40, Mack 10 and The Eastsiderz.   The filming for the N.W.A. biopic is underway, and Ice Cube took to his Instagram to preview a little sneak peak. This particular scene is rumored to be a recreation of the 1992 L.A. Riots for which N.W.A.’s “Fuck The Police” became the unofficial anthem. Check out the photo after the jump.


Ice Cube’s “Everythang’s Corrupt” Gets A New Release Date

Earlier in the week, Ice Cube released his single, “Drop Girl” featuring Redfoo and 2 Chainz. While in the midst of making videos, working on the NWA biopic and more, Cube announces the new release date for the Everythang’s Corrupt album, which the single appears. Check out the date below.

Some may not remember, but similar to the beef that brewed between Common and Drake not too long ago, there was once a feud between the Chicago rapper and Ice Cube.
